GENEVIEVE E. PEEPLES She received her Juris Doctor Degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2008 and her B.A. (Cum Laude) from Boston College, College of Arts and Sciences in 2005. She is admitted to practice law in the State Courts and in the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York. Prior to joining Frazer & Feldman, LLP, Genevieve accumulated a decade of experience representing labor unions and employees throughout the metro area.
Since joining Frazer and Feldman, Genevieve has engaged in negotiations on behalf of numerous Districts obtaining favorable results at the bargaining table with teachers, administrators, and support personnel, among other titles. Genevieve focuses her practice in the areas of public sector labor law and education law, including negotiation and mediation, interest arbitration and fact-finding, grievance arbitration, discrimination, EEOC issues, employee benefits, proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board, and disciplinary matters. Genevieve counsels clients throughout the negotiations process tailoring her approach to their unique needs and financial goals. She has also completed multiple sexual harassment investigations from initial complaint up through the final appeal process, as well as successfully defended Complaints to the State Division of Human Rights and the New York State Public Employment Relations Board. She routinely advises clients on a variety of labor and employment issues including Civil Service Law matters, contractual interpretation, FMLA, tenure questions, contractual interpretation, and State Labor Law requirements.
Genevieve is a member of the New York State Bar Association, where she previously served on the Executive Committee of the Labor and Employment Law Section and was a former co-chair of the Section's New Lawyers Committee. Genevieve is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
